Former Buffalo Brothers (Attic/Universal) drummer, Glen "Archie" Gamble, took on the tough job of filling the Helix drum throne vacated by Greg "Fritz" Hinz. It did not take long for Archie to gain his own legion of fans through his powerful live presence, musicianship and personality.
Archie was one of the most dedicated members in the history of the Helix band at assisting Brian Vollmer in the promotion of Helix.
As tough as it was for him, Archie departed company with Helix in late 2004 to tour with The Joys (named Popjoy at the time). Knowing what a great opportunity it was for Archie, Brian Vollmer gave him his blessing and gratitude and the two departed company with love and admiration.
