William La Main was an acrobat in the Barnum & Bailey Circus. His act consisted of balancing on a pyramid of trays of draught glasses. He had the center ring and Buffalo Bill Cody and Annie Oakley had the two side rings.
He is in the circus hall of fame in California.
We always wondered where Brian Vollmer learned his infamous stage acrobatics he used during the '70's and '80's.
